In remembrance of Martin Luther King Day, the social studies classes decorated a cut out of their hand to create a "Hands United as One" door cover, which signifies MLK's dream that everyone be treated fair and as equals. The globe of hands is a reminder that in order to obtain peace, we need to put our hands together instead of apart in order to spread peace throughout our community and throughout the world.
On Friday, March 8th, Nicholas School was able to see a presentation from Mr. Anthony Gibbs. Mr. Gibbs tells the story of Jon Parker and his life.
