In keeping with the stated purpose, membership of AAHD is made up of concerned persons from varied disciplines who have a commitment to working with individuals who are functioning inefficiently because of lack of neurological organization. Through pooled knowledge, information is gained on how to improve functioning. Membership includes clinicians, educators, optometrists, parents, physicians, psychologists and therapists among others.
